Meet your trustees
Trustee, Chair and Regional Co-Ordinator – Jenny Edwards
Jenny is the Regional Co-ordinator of LDTN Notts and Derby and was the first person to qualify with her dog Voodoo as an operational team. Passionate about her work, she understands personally the anguish when a dog goes missing when one of her own dogs was attacked by an off lead dog and went missing overnight. Jenny has regional oversight of the operational tracking side of LDTN N&D working closely with the overall founder of the national LDTN.
Trustee, Secretary & Treasurer – Helen Dyke
Helen had a 37-year career in financial services. As Managing Director of the RU Group, the business owned by her and her husband, Helen had overall responsibility for regulatory compliance and financial oversight. As a Chartered Financial Planner, one of her specialisms was providing advice to the Trustee Boards of Pension Schemes which have similar regulatory requirements to that of charities. Now retired, she was delighted to be approached by Jenny to be member of LDTN N&D as a Trustee and to be able to use her business skills to give something back to the canine community.
Trustee and Buddy – Melissa Slaney
Melissa is one of our valued buddies supporting the operational teams tracking. Together with her husband Warren she runs several businesses including a freedom field for dogs. A dog lover all her life she was keen to be involved with the running of the charity and her business skills meant she was an ideal person to become a trustee.
